This week, the Spirit of the Lord pressed heavily on my heart to speak about invisible enemies, those spiritual forces that operate quietly behind the scenes to manipulate, resist, and sabotage God’s children.
You have been walking faithfully, praying diligently, giving generously, and serving God with all your hearts, yet things just don’t seem to move. Opportunities vanish at the last moment, relationships collapse unexpectedly, health seems fragile, finances remain stagnant, and progress feels mysteriously blocked.
These are not mere coincidences. Many of these challenges are spiritual in origin, orchestrated by invisible enemies who have been assigned to stop your destiny.
Ephesians 6:12 — “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”
You see, child of God, the battle you are facing is not against people. It is spiritual.
And while the enemy operates in secrecy, he can only succeed when you remain unaware, passive, or uninformed. But the Word of God assures us that light exposes darkness.
And today, the Lord is declaring that every hidden force working against your life shall be exposed, confronted, and arrested.
Many invisible attacks are subtle. They come through delayed opportunities, recurring disappointments, confusion, sudden fatigue, missed connections, and spiritual interference in relationships or business. These forces prefer to operate quietly because once they are exposed, their power collapses.
Luke 10:19 — “Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
Beloved, understand this clearly: you are seated in Christ above all powers.
The invisible enemy may try to manipulate your mind, spirit, or environment, but he will meet resistance.
The moment you stand in faith, armed with the Word of God, and exercise your authority in Christ, the enemy trembles. The weapons of darkness cannot prosper against a believer who knows their rights in the Spirit.
Understanding Invisible Enemies
Invisible enemies are spiritual forces assigned to observe, influence, and sometimes sabotage your life. They can operate through:
- Monitoring spirits
- Evil observers
- Ancestral altars and covenants
- Jealous individuals or manipulators
- Spirits of delay, stagnation, and limitation
These forces are real, and they often operate without physical manifestation. You might not see them, but their effects are visible. Life feels like it is working against you. Doors remain shut. Progress seems elusive. Yet, the Bible assures us that every spiritual obstruction is subject to the authority of God’s children.
My friend, Bishop Fortune, Ijezie shared a very revealing testimony with me sometime ago. A young man in his Church was doing very well in his line of trade. In the market, he was known to be successful, consistent, and trusted. He did not realize that there were invisible enemies around him, people who watched his progress closely and were jealous of his rise.
He ordered a large consignment of goods using all his capital, but suddenly the goods were not released to him. One issue turned into another, and the delay continued without a clear explanation. That single situation brought him from a place of stability to serious pressure.
His business went down, his confidence died, and everything he had built began to shake.
Then he gave him seven days of prayer with three days of fasting, specifically focused on arresting every invisible enemy working against his destiny. On the last day of the prayer, while he was still in church, he received a call and was asked to come and take his goods immediately.
Goods worth over two hundred million were released without struggle. What was seized by invisible opposition was restored through prayer fire.
Invisible enemies are real, but they are powerless before God.
Psalm 64:2 says, “Hide me from the secret counsel of the wicked, from the insurrection of the workers of iniquity.”
When God hides you, no secret counsel can prosper. But to walk in that hidden protection, you must engage in prayer, declaration, and spiritual vigilance.
Open Doors to Invisible Attacks
1. Generational Altars – Covenants made by your forefathers can empower invisible attacks. These altars call names in bloodlines until broken by the blood of Jesus.
2. Monitoring Spirits and Evil Observers – Spirits sent to watch, report, and hinder you operate invisibly until exposed and commanded to scatter.
3. Jealousy and Negative Words – Spoken curses, envy, or hatred can manifest spiritually as missiles of delay or destruction.
4. Open Spiritual Gates – Sin, fear, bitterness, emotional wounds, or ignorance can create legal doors for the enemy.
5. Destiny Sensitivity – The brighter your calling, the fiercer the attacks. Every potential in your life is targeted.
Understanding the sources and methods of these attacks allows you to pray strategically and reclaim your spiritual ground.
How to Arrest Invisible Enemies
Beloved, the Lord is not just giving you information; He is giving you authority.
1. Discernment: Ask God for spiritual sensitivity. Darkness cannot operate where light is present. Recognize the enemy’s tactics.
2. Speak the Word: Confess scriptures daily over your life. Psalm 91, Psalm 27, and Luke 10:19 declare them audibly and confidently.
3. Persistent Prayer Altar: Spiritual battles are won where prayer is persistent. Build a daily habit of speaking to heaven, not to the air.
4. Plead the Blood of Jesus: Cover your home, family, finances, mind, and future. The blood of Jesus nullifies every demonic assignment.
5. Refuse Fear: Fear empowers the enemy. Authority silences him. Stand boldly in the knowledge that you are more than a conqueror in Christ.
20 PROPHETIC PRAYERS TO ARREST EVERY INVISIBLE ENEMY
1. Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your word and knowledge that exposes the works of darkness. Every invisible enemy working secretly against my destiny, I arrest you now by the authority in the name of Jesus. I command you to be exposed, disgraced, and destroyed by Holy Ghost fire, in Jesus name.

6. Powers operating invisibly in my foundation, I flush you out by the blood of Jesus. Your hiding place is exposed. Come out and perish now by fire.
7. Every invisible enemy using dreams, thoughts, or confusion to attack me, I arrest you. I break your access to my spirit and mind. Be bound and destroyed, in Jesus name.
8. Strange powers speaking evil from hidden places against my life, your voice is silenced. I command your altars to catch fire. Speak no more, in Jesus name.
9. Invisible enemies disguising themselves as friends, helpers, or opportunities, be exposed now. I separate myself from you by divine discernment. Lose your influence and scatter, in Jesus name.
10. Spiritual enemies hiding behind delay, stagnation, and repeated disappointments, I confront you. Release my progress now. Be scattered and judged by fire, in Jesus name.
11. Every invisible enemy assigned to divert my destiny path, catch fire now. I realign my steps with divine purpose. You will not mislead me again, in Jesus name.
12. Powers attacking me from the unseen realm, I drag you into judgment. I confront you by the authority of Christ. Be destroyed by fire, in Jesus name.
13. Every demonic agent moving secretly to block my breakthroughs, be arrested now. I paralyze your operations by the blood of Jesus. Lose your power and scatter.
14. Invisible enemies operating under legal rights, covenants, or agreements, your access is revoked. The blood of Jesus cancels your permissions. Die by fire, in Jesus name.
15. Every unseen power exchanging my blessings in secret, restore sevenfold now. I recover everything stolen from me. Be destroyed by fire, in Jesus name.
16. Monitoring spirits watching my life invisibly, go blind now. Your surveillance systems are destroyed. Scatter and perish by fire.
17. Every invisible enemy assigned to frustrate my prayers, I bind you now. I break your resistance and neutralize your power. Be cast out permanently, in Jesus name.
18. Powers hiding in the atmosphere to attack my destiny, scatter by thunder. I command the fire of God to sweep through my environment. No dark power shall remain, in Jesus name.
19. Every invisible enemy enforcing evil verdicts over my life, your judgments are overturned. I replace them with divine verdicts of favor and victory. Be silenced forever, in Jesus name.
20. By the authority in the name of Jesus, I arrest, judge, and destroy every invisible enemy working against my destiny. My life is sealed by the blood of Jesus. I walk in freedom, dominion, and victory, in Jesus mighty name.
