The Prophetic Significance Of The Number 6

June is the sixth month. And the number 6 in scripture is not random. It is the number of man’s encounter with God. Every major instance of the number 6 in the Bible involves a moment where the divine and the human met, and nothing was ever the same again.

“And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness… So God created man in his own image… And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.” Genesis 1:26-31 (KJV)

Man was created on the sixth day.

Not the first day. Not the third day. Not the fifth day. The sixth. God waited until the sixth day to create the being He would have relationship with. The number 6 is the number of divine encounter with humanity. It is the number where God stops building the environment and starts building the relationship.

This is the first thing you need to know about the month of June. The Lord is interested in your relationship with Him more than He is interested in the environment around you. He is not decorating your life this month. He is encountering you.

The angel visited Mary in the sixth month.

Jesus met the Samaritan woman at the sixth hour.

“Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.” John 4:6 (KJV)

The woman came to draw water and left carrying a revelation that transformed her entire city. The encounter happened at the sixth hour. Not the third. Not the ninth.

The number 6 is where encounters happen that transform cities.

You Will Receive An Encounter That Will Change Everything

This month at Shining Light Christian Centre, our theme is The Month of Transforming Encounter.

It is the month where the power of Jesus will become real in your life. It is the month of revelation. It is the month where you will hear His voice clearly. The woman with the issue of blood was rejected by society. Rejected by her husband. Rejected by friends and family. Even rejected by religious people. Rejected by the church of her time. Rejected everywhere.

She carried a pain for 12 years.

Twelve years.

But just one touch. Her life changed.

The Greek word for what happened to her is sōzō, which means to save, to heal, to deliver, to make whole. She was not just healed. She was made whole. One encounter did what twelve years of effort could not do.

Peter had fished all night and caught nothing. Jesus told him to launch into the deep. The Greek word is bathos, the deep, the place you have never gone.

Peter obeyed. And the nets broke with fish.

One instruction. One act of obedience. A net-breaking, boat-sinking harvest.

The thief on the cross was dying. He had no offering, no track record, nothing to bring. He simply said, Lord, remember me.

The Greek word is mnēsthēti, to recall, to bring to mind.

And Jesus said, today thou shalt be with me in paradise. One word. Eternal destiny changed.

One touched.

One obeyed.

One spoke.

And they were all transformed.

1. I Will Not Leave June The Same Way I Entered It

1. Something in my life is about to shift permanently. The shift is not temporary. It is structural. The foundation of my situation is being rearranged by the hand of God this month, in Jesus name.

2. Like the woman who touched the hem of His garment, one encounter is enough to end what has been running for years. I position myself for that encounter this month, in Jesus name.

3. June is not a continuation of May. It is a disruption. A divine interruption. The pattern breaks this month, in Jesus name.

4. By the end of June, the people who knew me in May will not recognise my story. The transformation will be visible and undeniable, in Jesus name.

5. I am entering June hungry. I am entering expecting. I am entering with my hands open and my faith active. I will not leave this month empty, in Jesus name.

2. I Will Hear The Voice Of God Clearly This Month

1. The Holy Spirit will show me things to come; I receive Him in full this month. My ears are open. My spirit is tuned. I will not miss what God is saying, in Jesus name.

1. Like the angel was sent to Mary in the sixth month, God has scheduled a divine visitation for me in June. The encounter is not random. It is ordained. It is appointed. It is coming, in Jesus name.

2. I will not miss my encounter through distraction, through doubt, or through delay. My spiritual eyes are open. I will recognise Him when He shows up, in Jesus name.

3. The encounter I need is not in a distant country. It is not reserved for someone else. It is mine. It has my name on it, in Jesus name.

4. The right person, the right opportunity, the right word, the right door will appear this month at the right time. Divine timing is activated over my life, in Jesus name.

4. Every Year-Long Problem Ends This Month

1. The woman bled for twelve years. It ended in one touch. Whatever has been running in my life for months or years, it ends in June. One encounter is enough, in Jesus name.

2. I refuse to carry into July what God is destroying in June. Sickness that has lasted years. Financial problems that have dragged on. Relational pain that has refused to heal. It dies this month, in Jesus name.

3. The doctors could not fix her. The experts had failed. But one touch of Jesus did what all the experts could not do. My solution is not in human hands. It is in the hands of God, in Jesus name.

4. Every prolonged battle of my life has an expiry date, and that date is June. They expire. They do not continue. They do not renew, in Jesus name.

5. By the power of the sixth month, by the authority of the God who created man on the sixth day, every long-standing issue in my life receives its solution this month, in Jesus name.

5. I Am Launching Into The Deep This Month

1. Jesus told Peter to launch into the deep. Peter had been fishing in the shallow and catching nothing. I refuse to stay in the shallow. I launch into the bathos, the deep place, the place I have never gone, in Jesus name.

2. The harvest I need is not in the familiar waters. It is in the deep. I am willing to go where I have never gone. I am willing to pray like I have never prayed. I am willing to believe at a level I have never believed, in Jesus name.

3. I decree a net-breaking, boat-sinking harvest over my finances, my career, my ministry, my family this month, in Jesus name.

4. Every instruction God gives me this month, I will obey immediately. At thy word I will let down the net. I obey at His word. Not at my feelings. Not at my logic, in Jesus name.

5. The shallow season is over. The season of average results is over. I am entering a depth of blessing I have never experienced before, in Jesus name.

6. The Ordinary In My Life Becomes Extraordinary This Month

3. The best is not behind me. The best wine is being served now. What is coming is better than what has been. June is the month of the best wine, in Jesus name.

4. The master of the feast said they saved the best for last. God has saved the best season of my life for this season, in Jesus name.

5. Whatever I have in my hand, even if it looks like water, God is turning it into wine this month. My little becomes much. My insufficient becomes more than enough, in Jesus name.

7. I Receive Financial Transformation This Month

1. The sixth month is the month of encounter with provision. Money I have been waiting for, contracts I have been chasing, payments that have been delayed, they manifest in June, in Jesus name.

2. I decree supernatural income this month. Money from sources I did not plan. Favour I did not apply for. Financial surprises that make me weep with gratitude, in Jesus name.

3. Every financial door that has been shut against me for the first five months of this year, I command it to open in June. What January through May denied me, June delivers, in Jesus name.

4. I break the power of every financial drought over my life. The rain is coming. The harvest is here. My account will not end this month the way it started, in Jesus name.

5. I am the lender and not the borrower this month. Deuteronomy 28:12. The blessing of God makes me rich and adds no sorrow, in Jesus name.

8. My Health Is Restored This Month

1. If the woman with the issue of blood could be made whole in one touch, then whatever is wrong in my body can be corrected in one encounter with God this month, in Jesus name.

2. Every diagnosis that has been hanging over my head, every report that has been causing fear, I bring it to the feet of Jesus this month. Sōzō. I am saved. I am healed. I am made whole, in Jesus name.

3. No sickness will survive in my body through the month of June. Whatever is not planted by God is uprooted. Matthew 15:13, in Jesus name.

4. I command my organs, my blood, my cells, my bones, my nervous system to align with the word of God. My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and sickness has no lease agreement, in Jesus name.

5. Before June ends, I will testify of healing. Not a feeling. Not a hope. Evidence. The encounter with the Healer produces evidence, in Jesus name.

9. My Marriage And Relationships Are Transformed This Month

1. Every relationship in my life that has been dry, cold, broken, or hostile receives the touch of God this month. What was dead is coming back to life, in Jesus name.

2. If I am believing God for marriage, the sixth month is the month of divine introduction. The person God ordained for me is being moved toward me right now, in Jesus name.

3. If my marriage is under attack, I decree restoration. The same Jesus who turned water into wine at the wedding in Cana is turning the water in my marriage into wine. The best season, in Jesus name.

4. Every wrong person in my life who has been blocking my marital destiny is removed this month. And every right person is introduced, in Jesus name.

5. I speak peace into my home. I speak love into my marriage. I speak unity into my family. Where there has been strife, peace comes, in Jesus name.

10. My Children Are Covered And Protected This Month

1. I declare a hedge of fire around every one of my children this month. No evil will touch them. No accident will reach them. No sickness will enter them, in Jesus name.

4. Every demonic assignment targeting my children’s education, their career, their relationships, their mental health, fire. The assignment is cancelled, in Jesus name.

5. My children will not be a source of sorrow this month. They will be a source of joy. They will be a source of testimony, in Jesus name.

1. At the sixth hour, darkness covered the land. But the darkness did not win. The cross won. Every darkness over my life is confronted and defeated this month, in Jesus name.

16. I Have The Mind Of Christ

1. I have the mind of Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:16. I think like Jesus. I reason like Him. I see things the way He sees them. I have His kind of results, in Jesus name.

2. Every spirit of confusion, anxiety, depression, and mental heaviness, I cast you out of my life this month. My mind is a temple of peace, in Jesus name.

3. I receive supernatural ideas this month. Business ideas. Ministry ideas. Problem-solving ideas. Creative ideas that produce income and impact, in Jesus name.

4. I will not overthink. I will not worry. I will not be paralysed by fear. I have the mind of Christ and the mind of Christ produces clarity and boldness, in Jesus name.

5. My thoughts are aligned with the thoughts of God this month. I think abundance, not poverty. I think victory, not defeat. I think possibility, not limitation, in Jesus name.

4. I speak multiplication over every naira, every dollar, every pound in my hand. Like the five loaves and two fishes, what I have feeds thousands when God touches it, in Jesus name.

5. By the end of June, I will have a testimony about provision. A testimony I can point to and say, only God could have done this, in Jesus name.

1. This month I draw closer to Jesus than I have ever been. My prayer life deepens. My worship intensifies. My hunger for His presence increases, in Jesus name.

4. I decree that my relationship with Jesus produces visible fruit this month. The fruit of the Spirit. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control, in Jesus name.

5. The more I know Him, the more I become like Him. And the more I become like Him, the more the world sees Him through me. This June, people will encounter Jesus through my life, in Jesus name.

19. This Is My Month Of Testimony

1. June is my month of testimony. By the time I enter July, I will have something to say that I did not have in May. A story that only God could have written, in Jesus name.

2. My testimony will not be small. It will not be private. It will be the kind of testimony that makes people who doubted me change their minds about what God can do, in Jesus name.

3. The Samaritan woman went back to her city and said, come see a man who told me everything I ever did. My testimony this month will draw people to God, in Jesus name.

4. Every area of my life that has been silent, that has had nothing to report, speaks this month. My body testifies of healing. My finances testify of provision. My home testifies of peace, in Jesus name.

5. I reject a testimonless June. I refuse to end this month empty-handed. I will carry evidence. I will carry proof, in Jesus name.

1. Like Jacob who wrestled until daybreak and walked away with a new name, I walk out of June with a new identity. What defined me before June does not define me after June, in Jesus name.

3. Like Peter who launched into the deep and caught a boatload, I walk out of June with overflow. Net-breaking. Boat-sinking. More than I can contain, in Jesus name.

4. Like the thief who spoke one word and received paradise, I walk out of June with the guarantee of God’s promise over my life. What He said, He will do, in Jesus name.

5. I will not end this month the same person that entered it. The sixth month did what the first five could not. The encounter happened. And I will never be the same again, in Jesus name.
